04 — The Person

the work behind the work.

I used to think I needed one clean title: athlete, designer, or filmmaker. Turns out the interesting part is where they overlap.

RALEIGH → AIKEN → WINGATE → ATLANTA

01 — The Jersey

basketball taught me how to watch.

I'm a Raleigh kid who played D2 at USC Aiken and Wingate. I know the 6am practices nobody films, the bus rides, the film room, and the particular way a team sounds before a game. Then I tore my ACL at 20 and had to figure out who I was without a jersey.

What stayed with me was the part that doesn't tear: I know what it costs to care about a thing. That's the eye behind every frame—whether I'm in a gym, at a HYROX race, or courtside.

02 — Two Ways of Building

a camera and a keyboard.

I picked up a camera and a keyboard at the same time — two ways of building when I couldn't hoop. Design became the career, but the camera stayed close. I cut my teeth shooting artists and music videos, learning light, movement, and how to let someone be themselves under a lens.

The career taught me the system. The court taught me the game. The camera is how I bring them together.

the camera never left.
03 — The Studio

now, I document the people who train on purpose.

My work lives around HYROX athletes, coaches, trainers, gym owners, and the communities they're building. The design years are why the content has a point. The production years are why it feels considered. And the athlete years are why I know when to shoot—and when to get out of the way.

The story isn't just the finish line. It's the work that gives it meaning.

04 — Beyond the Camera

where I'm headed.

Film V1—a longer basketball story—is in production now. It's the slowest, most deliberate thing I've made, and basketball is still a lane I want to keep building in.

I'm also leaning further into the fitness world: HYROX, trainers, gym stories, and campaigns built around performance. Documentary taught me how to find the moment. Directing is how I build one from scratch.

How I work

three things I believe.

make it feel like you.

Some days that's documenting your real grind. Some days it's directing a full concept shoot. Either way, the work has to move like you actually move.

the work is the lane.

I know the reps, the rhythms, and the moments that matter—on the court, in the gym, and on race day. That's what I bring to every frame.

play the long game.

One viral clip is luck. A consistent, compounding body of work is a strategy. Everything I make is built to last a season, not a single scroll.

that's the work. that's the lane.

now let's talk about yours.
